Vincent VanGogh: Wheat Field with Crows

"The Wheat Field with Crows" was painted by Vincent VanGogh in 1890 and I chose this painting because I found it interesting from how this was painted to the mood this drawing and VanGogh set.  I was really intrigued by how dark, especially at the top, the sky was painted because I feel it does not match the actual setting of this portrait, being in the open cornfields.  Therefore, it leaves some questions wondering if this was at night or during the day.  I also was interested by VanGogh's style of painting this picture with the short strokes.  Just looking at this picture, I feel that there is a lot of mystery and leaving the viewers wanting more.
