Paul Cezanne
Paul Cezanne is considered to be the “Father of Modern Art” because he was the first artist of his era to break away from impressionism. The paining that I chose shows a good example of small brush strokes and an emphasis on light. This one stood out to me the most out of all the others because I found it strange yet cool to find the skull in the middle of some pears and apples. This showed me his vivid imagination. I like that the fruit had more than one color, which made them pop to the eye.
