"Table, Napkin, Fruit" by Paul Cezanne is a perfect example of why he is considered by many the father of modern art. Cezanne is said to have formed the gap between late 19th century impressionism, and early 20th century art. He was regarded by both Picasso and Matisse as a father of art. I personally enjoy this composition for the texture that was put into it. The fruit has so much depth and really comes alive against the white contrast of the cloth
