-Girl in the woods : Vincent Van Gogh-

This painting is a Van Gogh piece, and was painted in 1882. The piece caught my eye due to the depth of the painting. The background shows how dense this forest is and allows the viewer to feel the heaviness of the woods. The proportioning in this painting is also shown very well between the small girl and the size of the trees. I also really liked the texture and shadowing of the roots and trees that are close up, it really makes the painting pop.
