Paul Cezanne- Father of Modern Art

Paul Cezanne was considered the Father of Modern Art because he was the first artist to break away from Impressionism. Many artists followed his influence of an innovative vision. He added vivid colors, which became dominant elements of his compositions. Cezanne sought out to reveal something other than reality. I admire his individuality, creativeness, and refusal to conform to his impressionist colleagues.
