Vincent Van Gough

I chose this print because after researching what was behind it I found that Vincent Van Gough had been forced to work indoors while painting this because the wind was too bad outside, I found it interesting that he painted something so bright while being stuck inside, in what seemed to be, against his will. I also found that around the time he painted this he was becoming more and more good at what he was doing and it was described as "a token of the dangerous velocity at which he was moving at that point." I love the painting and I found more of a liking in it knowing now that it was one of his first more famous works.
