Wassily Kandinsky was a Russian painter and key person in the start of the abstract art movement. Some may even call him the pioneer of it. Although his art is has a difficult point to it, i feel he expressing emotion through the chaos that lives in his paintings. Human emotions are a complex thing and complex is and understatement for his paintings. This painting in particular has a lot going on but at the same time you can concentrate on specific things inside it that give of some emotion.
