Is this art?

Art is defined as, “the expression or application of human creative skill and imagination, typically in a visual form such as painting or sculpture, producing works to be appreciated primarily for their beauty or emotional power”. However, in this particular piece, it fails to portray any skill or imagination. There is nothing thought provoking or intriguing about this object. Although art can be expressed in many shapes and forms, I do not consider this as art. I feel like objects like this that are considered to be “art” tend to undermine the true artists throughout history that put hours of work and effort into an art piece.
