Vasily Kandinsky

Picture with an Archer by Vasily Kandinsky (French, born Russia. 1866–1944). I really like how he used these specific colors and just how different it is. The picture is susspose to be of trees in the countryside, with a horseman who turns in his saddle and aims his bow. In the left foreground stand men in Russian dress; behind them are a house, a domed tower, and two bulbous mountains. This picture is really abstract, and nearly vibrating, with vivid colors make the scene hard to make out.
